Accordion Renaissance helps students participate in festivals, workshops, and musical gatherings where they can perform, learn, and connect with the wider accordion community. These experiences allow students to grow as musicians, collaborate with other performers, and gain inspiration that supports their continued development.

Through the generosity of our supporters, we are sometimes able to help offset the cost of attending these events. Support may include assistance with things such as registration fees, lodging, or transportation when possible.

Students connected with Accordion Renaissance have participated in a variety of events across the United States and internationally, including:

• Houston Accordion Orchestra retreats organized through the Stas Venglevski Music Foundation (SVMF), including yearly trips to Houston, Texas
• An international youth accordion trip to Japan with SVMF
• Accordion retreats and gatherings in Madison, Wisconsin and Curtis, Michigan with SVMF
• Events hosted by the Balalaika and Domra Association of America (BDAA)
• Festivals organized by the American Accordionists' Association (AAA)
   

These opportunities allow students to perform alongside experienced musicians, meet other accordionists, and become part of a larger musical community.
