Accordion Renaissance supports a community of independent accordion educators. The teachers listed on our site are not employees of Accordion Renaissance, and students work directly with the teacher they choose. We do not take a percentage of lesson tuition. Our goal is to connect students with a trusted group of educators who share our commitment to musical growth and community. Click below to explore our educators and find the right fit for you.

For a limited time, join Ina Yakubeika in Jensen Beach, FL for free group accordion lessons! Lessons will begin March 21st and prepare students for a concert that will take place 1:15 PM, May 23rd. Instruments will be provided. Availability is limited. Click below to learn more.
Students of all ages and levels have regular performance opportunities through local events, concerts, and large ensemble performances. Accordion Renaissance also participates in large-scale events across the U.S. Performance opportunities for online students are discussed individually.
For select young students, we offer financial assistance in attending music and accordion related events, as well as in paying for lessons. Contact us for more information regarding scholarships.
Jim Rice offers in-person only lessons guiding students in understanding how their instruments works inside and out! By the end of these lessons, all students should be able to make most minor and some major repairs for their instruments.
Each endorsed teacher sets their own lesson rates and billing structure. Some teachers charge per lesson, while others use monthly tuition. Rates and payment details are listed on individual teacher pages when available - click “Learn More” for details.
While we are based in Virginia, our members are located across the east coast. Our out-of-state teachers offer online lessons as well as in-person local lessons, while our in-state teachers only teach in-person. Online lessons can be just as beneficial as in-person and are easy to set up. Reach out using our contact form if you are uncertain what option is best for you!
You don't need an instrument to start lessons! Your individual teacher will work with you to find the correct instrument for you. If you already have an instrument, we will assist in making sure it suits and meets your learning needs.
